{Think what a better world it would be if we all, the whole world, had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down on our blankets for a nap}.
The Fourth Annual Milk + Bookies event at the Skirball Cultural Center was an absolute success. The venue was full of your favorite characters (Thing1&2, the cat in the hat, curious george, eloise, harry potter, you name it), amazing arts&crafts, a DJ, photo booths, and more bean bags than thirteen kindergarten classrooms surrounding the celebrity reading stage. There were some pretty cool cats who support and donate to this cause that made an appearance today with their little tikes, including Julie Bowen, Max Greenfield, Don Cheadle, Adam Scott, JJ Abrams, & Ginnifer Goodwin. Not to mention, there were more milk and cookies than I could even imagine (hence the name...go figure, right?) Milk + Bookies is a killer non-profit organization that teaches children the importance of a good read. I mean because all of us secretly want our kids to be cutie little bookworms with glasses anyway.
